We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Sales Manager for our client’s main dealer site in the Exeter area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a General Sales Manager to join a superb dealer group, a strong brand, working in a busy, state-of-the-art site. We are looking for General Sales Managers with a strong track record in both new and used car sales.

General Sales Manager Role:

Working closely with the senior management team; you will manage the Sales Executive team to a strong sales performance every month. Driving the sales in the department through processes and training the team to work professionally.
• Making sure the team offers strong customer service, working with the team to maximise sales while promoting a strong profit per unit, and working closely with the finance team to secure the best deal for the customer
• -Controlling the used car stock to make sure you have the right vehicles for your market area
• -Making sure all online adverts are done according to company & manufacturer guidelines.

General Sales Manager Requirements:
• It is essential you have experience as a Sales Manager within the motor trade – at least 2 years experience within the role
• Good understanding of both new and used vehicle sales
• Ideally experienced in running a large sales team, highly successful.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
