HGV Technician Location: Erith Salary: up to £23.00 per hour Shifts: Sunday to Thursday 10:00 - 18:30 & Monday to Friday 13.00 to 21.30 plus every other Saturday morning Ref: OC20384 We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s workshop in Erith The successful HGV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models. Company benefits: • Pension scheme • Death in Service • 22 days holiday + stats • Wellbeing program including Mental Health 1st Aid • Employee Assistance Helpline • Discounts & Shopping Vouchers • Uniform and PPE HGV Technician responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues. • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues. • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used. • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations. • Maintain a clean and organised work area. HGV Technician requirements: • You will need to have experience as a vehicle technician and a relevant and up to date qualification. City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is essential • Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGV's • Experience with Tail lifts is desirable • HGV Class 1 Driving licence is preferred • A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
