My client is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join their family run dealership in the Oakham area.

Role:

• Front facing customer interaction, bookings, estimates, enquiries etc.
• Workshop control including the allocation of work directly to technicians.
• Effective time allocation for technicians & a good understanding of workshop goals.
• Controlling the booking diary and workshop to ensure work is completed not only to a high standard but within the customers expected timeframe.
• Solid communication between departments including Sales & Parts.
• You will provide outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop.
• You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing, and keep the customer up to date whilst answering any questions or queries they may have.
• You will also liaise with technicians about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time.
• You will also have the ability to give the best advice on our products and services to our customers.

Requirement:

• The successful candidate will need to be smartly presented, conscientious and possess excellent communication skills.
• Have a great deal of flexibility and understanding of the customer’s individual requirements, maintaining a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times, and a desire to consistently deliver excellent customer service.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong time management and organisation.
• Experience of the role is essential, knowledge of Pinnacle Pinewood DMS is preferred but not critical.
• Be hands on in nature, financially aware, a keen eye for detail and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
