Our client is an industry leader in their field. They are a major commercial fleet management company whom are looking to add to their team and bring on board a new Maintenance Controller for their Yorkshire based offices. This is a new position which represents excellent career progression for the right person.

You will be required to manager our clients commercial fleet from site and ensure the fleet is maintained in a cost effective way. Always working to strict VOSA standards and UK law.

The Maintenance Controllers role, is to carry out daily management and legal compliance activities connected to the commercial vehicle fleet on behalf of our client. The role will require the successful candidate to deal with and issues promptly and courteously. Ensuring that down time is kept to a minimum and the fleet is back on the road as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has the following

* A working knowledge of HGV & commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
* Strong work ethic
* Excellent telephone skills
* Experience using internal and external Computerised databases
* Pro-active approach to problem solving
* Happy to work from their desk effectively driving repairs forward working in conjunction with the clients partners to minimise downtime and costs to the company or the end user.

Salary £23,000 – £25,000 per year plus company benefits
Monday to Friday 38.75 hours per week
