We are currently recruiting for an HGV Senior Automotive Technician / Mechanic for our clients’ site in the Sheffield area.

HGV Senior Automotive Technician / Mechanic role:

• Your remit will be to lead team and assistant to Workshop Manager.
• Your remit will be to carry out the full cycle of repairs, servicing, MOT work to a high standard and help the team achieve productivity targets.
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.
• To ensure that the vehicles are operating safely and compliant with legislation. To guarantee all vehicles are road tested prior to confirming completion wherever possible.
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicles and completing relevant documentation.

Candidate Requirement:

• Experience in working on heavy goods vehicles.
• Fully qualified (Level 3 in NVQ in Engineering for Vehicle Maintenance or City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Engineering).
• A full UK driving licence – Class II preferred but not essential, training can be provided.
